14“ square natural mango wood base tray from sustainably harvested Indian mango trees. (Yes - mangoes like you buy at the supermarket!) When the mango tree has outlived its useful existence as a fruit-bearing tree, the farmer harvests the wood and sells the lumber to skilled craftsmen who make all kinds of useful products. This brings much needed revenue to Indian farmers.

Each tray is beautifully finished in "pickled wood" style and then hand sanded.
